Steve Roden 14th June 2020

I never worked directly with or for Bob but had lots of dealings with him throughout my service career. In the mid-80s he, as a senior WO1 Yeoman of Signals, provided much needed help, advice and guidance to me when I was a newly qualified Yeoman of Signals coming to terms with my new appointment. In spite of the age, rank and experience gap between us he always had time to listen and, where he could, to help a fellow Yeoman. There is no doubt that I benefited greatly from his wisdom and experience. His ready and disarming smile as well as his calm and considered approach to problems endeared him not only to me but also to a good many in The Corps. Please accept my condolences for your loss. RIP Bob. 'Di te incolumem custodiant'.
